Scars
Yes, I see your scars
But listen here
I also see a beautiful heart
Which makes those scars look like a bunch of beauty marks
Marks that mark where the light inside of you tried to escape
And you felt as if it was too late
But I’m here to tell you, it’s not
It’s not too late for that light to escape
And illuminate the beauty I see before me
So yeah, I see your scars
But who cares
When all you have to do
Is to take that heart
Power up your light
And give life one hell of a fight
And if you need some reinforcements
I’m always here to help you fight that battle
All I ask of you
Is to give it all you got
Please don’t stop
And promise me that you’ll try to break free from all those nasty thoughts
