Glass Tower
The solitude wells up and pours from my eyes
Like the dark clouds I’ve come to utterly despise.
The glass cuts deep through my already scarred memories,
As my mouth fills with the taste of bittersweet cherries.
In this place there is no love to be felt; the only emotion in my veins sorrow
All I can do is take my dissipating hope and anticipate for tomorrow
