Solitude
I am all alone.
But not really.
People surround me
But,
Are they really there?
Do they care?
I am alone in a way
That the busy minded souls around me
Pass through me,
They uncharacteristically haunt me
Without meaning to,
Hurt me without intention,
And force me to question my life
Without questioning their motives.
I am living proof that
Solitude
Can be translated to
Popularity.
When expectations
Are so high for you
You can't help but suicidally
Fall.
I am a retired actor,
Sick of the life
Of masking my emotions,
Wiping them off my sleeve before
I face the judgmental crowds.
And now that I've showed my true colors,
I am alone.
