I Fly
There is a method to my madness.
There is logic in my happiness.
There is reason for my chains being melted.
I dare not say goodbye,
For all this time, I’ve tried,
I’d rather say hello,
To the door that’s open below.
I dare not say goodbye,
I want to hold it forever.
But time is unforgiving, and it’s charging ever forward.
I now open this new chapter in my book of life,
With the power and the insanity to write my own story.
A positive mind,
A strong will,
A hopeful heart,
A burning desire,
A supportive circle,
A tiny voice that tells you what to do.
All these and more I thank,
And now as I say goodbye,
I melt the chains that bound me,
And like the eagle,
I FLY

Moving on to a new chapter is scary. But nothing is more liberating than seeing the world open up around you. There are times in everyone's life when we have to spread our wings and fly.
