Forest
I look around me.
I've created this.
This forest of joy.
After the years of the weeds and thistles
Who ate me up.
I had to trim the foliage,
Cut some ties with some people.
After all the ugly brown
And dark, diluted green,
I let the real me shine.
And when the light shines,
Relationships grow,
Like the pure plants.
And so I look around,
It wasn't so bad to be unafraid.
There's so many trees out there,
So many people to love me
For me.

I see this one as a goal for myself in the future. I want to be thinking this when I have defeated the demons I battle, day in and day out. I want this to be my scene. Hope you like!
