My Mind
My mind is like a library
without the Dewey Decimal system.
The information is so lost because
my brain is too full.
My mind is like a bullet
escaping the gun.
Shooting straight at a target
before the target is hung.
My mind is like a racecar
revving to keep up.
Creating skid marks with my tires but
falling off before the finish line.
My mind is so crazy
sleep cannot be found
Ticking of the clock keeps me up
because it’s always wound.
