Words
Words.
They have two faces, just like humans.
One side sings of beautiful lyrics,
as pure and crisp as morning dew,
collecting on the tips of tender green hue.
The other face is called anger.
Red waves of rage,
searing lava rolling off tongues.
These are negative:
they lash out like knives,
burn like fire.
They dig deep into flesh like fiery bullets.
Some reach the heart and collide with veins,
vessels and arteries,
punctured,
severed.
No amount of medication
can bring back a life.
Just like no amount of tears
can mend a
broken
heart.
