Questions
Life is full of questions,
the who’s, the when’s, the why’s,
That’s why it’s amazing
we don’t break down and cry.
Where did I come from?
Where have I been?
Where do I want to go?
And time takes up the when.
To much is unknown
for me to proceed,
but I don’t have a choice,
because life won't wait for me.
They say my future’s calling,
and reaching out for me.
Should I open up my arms
and greet it cordially?
Or should I try and block it out?
Just go with the flow?
How do I make my choice?
I’m not sure that I know.
I’m lost in my choices,
That’s just it: the choice!
I get so many options,
It makes me lose my voice.
Do I follow my dreams?
Or those laid out for me?
How will I decide,
what I want to be?
All these questions people ask,
and never will they know,
the answers to the questions
they buried down below.

I thought up this piece when I was wondering about my future and what life will be like during and after college.
