I Fell
As I went
Going, going, gone
A day well spent
The smell of your shirt
The way that you flirt
Not sure how it happened
A feeling like never before
It hurt as I saw you leave and shut the door
But now as I sit
All alone right here
It’s no longer a feeling of fear
I fell
Not the kind where you scrape your knee
Bleed
Then arise and succeed
But it was different
Not the kind of fall that you can recover
Or at least not for a while
The kind of fall that just makes you want to smile
It was a daydream
With no way to return to reality
It was love.

This piece was easy for me to write because I have my own personal experiences and I hope this will help others understand love more.
