You (How You make me feel)
When I look at you, I feel special. I want to put on my prettiest dress and do my hair.
Your smile makes my heart flutter. I want you to just pull me close and dance with me.
Your eyes shine when you see your siblings and I know how good with kids you are. I feel the butterflies unlike any other.
I find myself hoping you’d sit next to me or look my way. My mind sees you and makes me sit straighter and smile when you talk.
I get scared and turn away. My heart shouldn’t do this. My mind shouldn’t be on you.
I can’t like anyone. Especially you. I know if I was to accept my feeling for you, I would regret it.
My brother would lose a friend.
My heart would break.
I don’t know why I feel this way.
The moment I saw you, I knew that I was in trouble.
I could feel it.
“I don’t want to like anyone.”
I can’t do it.
You deserve better than this.
But my mind is made up.
I have no choice but to follow.
