Across the Room
From across the room they call you
From their locked up box
You old friends they haunt you
from the past you have not forgot
you give into temptation
and remove them from their box
you hold them in your fingers, a feeling to horrible
the silver of the blades cold like you remember
just once you say, but you know thats just a lie
you slice about your arm once more
like the days when you wanted to die
you give into temptation
and let the blood run down your arm
how can such cold metal, bring something that is so warm
now your old scars they scream
open me once more
one cut turns 20, but still you want more.
reality turns hazy, and now youre in a daze
you gave into temptation
and now you must pay
your a bloody mess, but you just cant seem to stop
and now you remember why, you had locked them in a box
20 turned to 40 and you know you must stop
but there is something powerful about these silver friends
once you picl them up, it seems you cant put them down again
look what youve done
you have really messed up
put your friends away now, before its to late
you gave into temptation and now you must pay.
