  I've never seen the way
A person could express about someone
They use to be in love with.
How their voice changes to a mellow sound
when it gives them comfort and relief,
Then the way there eyes stare into a distance
Thinking about that certain someone.
How they talk about the way they had a certain fragrance to them,
And how wonderful the aroma was.
The way he characterizes her beauty with freckles
And how charming it is to gaze at and poke them,
Like counting stars.
Even when she didn't appreciate her ‘star freckles ‘
He saw them as part of her attraction, that made her...her.
Her smile that gave goosebumps and chills
Like the cold air.
Made his heart plunge away from his caged ribs
Falling in his stomach turning into butterflies.
Her laugh that tattooed a beam on his face
And made him feel positive inside
Draining all the negativity out from his system.
To him she was everything,
All he ever wanted. There is no bad in that.
Just the sensibility of hope
That there will be someone comparable to her
Out in the universe.
The sense of longing to hold on to every memory
He had left of them together.
Grasping to know she's the one and only,
Who might just go extinct in his eyes.
How his life felt perfect
And all the worries dissolved away,
Disappearing into a mist floating with the wind,
With just the presences of her body next to him,
Warming his cold heart that feels outta place without her.
The words spoken by her that he never got drained of.
She was enough to his beating heart
In his eyes.
