To silence trepidation,

I conduct a small ritual.

Picturing my last day,

the terminal where I depart,

the time when I vanish.

I recognize I am on-air,

moments become fugitives.

The vivid outlook I adopt

washes myself of fear,

incites me to touch the truth,

hinders me from being an escapist.
