My sweet poet,
Oh, your tender words
Seem to melt my heart,
Forcing all rational thought
To escape,
And leaving me at the mercy
Of your every whim.
My sweet poet,
Oh, how my heart
Seems to sway
In time to yours.
Though many miles
Lie between us,
My love for you
Is truer than true.
My sweet poet,
How my heart aches for you,
And wishes to be with you,
Every hour of the day.

I can't live without you,
For a day without you
Would be a day in hell
