I am from springs
from icy cold water splashing my face
(It glimmering in the sunlight)
I am from the goofy golf greens
where I laugh and have fun
with the putter becoming my hands
I from spaghetti and meatballs
from Sharon
I am from smart-alecs
and loud-mouths
From Speak up and Quiet down
I am from everything that I’ve ever known
From moving house to house to my grandpa
From all the music that I've heard to my feelings
Now all that I see are picture
Pictures of what once was
But now are long gone
