Blue Eyes

My father’s eyes-- piercing and powerful. A blue like steel. Sharp and in charge. My mother’s eyes--warming and welcoming. A blue like the ocean. Relaxing like waves. My brothers’ eyes-- fierce and fiery. A blue like stormy skies. Beautiful, but ready to fight.
My eyes-- different and distinctive. A green like grass. Growing and observing day after day.
