Drowning
I am falling
Down and down I go
Deeper in this never ending abyss
I watch as the world falls apart
In front of my eyes
And it glues back together
I am falling
Through the emptiness of this world
Through the sulphuric air
That presses against my lungs
Through the life that once was mine
I am falling
I am finally seeing through
Through all the lies and all the pretending
I have stopped caring
I have stopped pretending
I am falling
I am not afraid
I’ve stopped being everybody else
I’ve started being me
I am finally letting go
I am falling
I watch as the world races by me
It’s as if I’m frozen in time
I feel my body hit the water
It feels so good to be here
I am falling
I am drowning
But nothing matters anymore
I’ve stopped caring
Cuz,
I’m finally home
