Laughter
Even the briefest giggle counts
In the family of laughter.
When a person laughs
They are themselves.
You can see what makes them truly happy
By what they laugh at.
It could be a person, an event, or nothing at all.
Some people laugh through their noses,
Some people laugh through their teeth.
Some people have a laugh that comes from their gut,
Some people have a laugh that comes from air.
Some squeal or snort
Which allows more laughter.
No matter how you laugh,
Know that it’s what makes you, you.
