I close my eyes
And feel you draw nearer
Your familiar scent
Grows stronger
As I feel your arms around me
My eyes open
Into yours
Your smile is
Bright
And it makes me smile
All of my
Insecurities
Float away
And It’s just me and
You
“Hello”
You whisper
And your voice
Sends goose bumps
Up and down my arms
I wish I could stay here
Forever
Just looking up
Into your
Clear blue eyes
With your arms around me
But you let go
And smile
A mischievous smile
“Tag,”
You say, “You’re it”
I smile back
You run away
And I follow
