The Colony of Ants

Ants by the thousands-
Constructing as workers during the summer
Piece by piece,
Up goes the building.
Leaning on one another-
Their meaty hands grasping materials
So efficient they were.
They look at my pencil-
They pick it up
and used it for the apex,
Now the pile of dirt is complete.
