Not a care in the world, just time
No structure, no thought
I felt free...
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Then the days started counting down
He wanted, she wanted, they wanted
Alone yet dependent, restrained yet unbridled
Tick Tock Tick Tock
I found myself being held hostage
I took time for granted, now it has taken me prisoner
Caged in by the regrets of words unsaid
Trapped by unbuilt walls
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Time seems to only accelerate
Forcing me to my breaking point
I yearn to escape from this prison
This prison of time
