The Sky Clears After the Rain
Rain is pouring

Pouring
A strike of light

Rain
Just pouring
And pouring
I sit on my bed,
Folding my knees
And hugging my legs as
I look out the window,
Misery
Sadness
Despair
Fear
Trickles through my body
And into my heart.
Misery
Sadness
Despair
Fear
I am crushed
Under the burden
Of those words.
I am the broken shards
That will not
ever
be fixed.
I only hold the half of my heart,
I locked myself in,
Not letting anyone touch me.
I wonder,
How to overcome the different challenges
In life.

And die
Swallowed by those challenges.
And I am one of them,
From the second group of people.
Misery
Sadness
Despair
Fear
Is what stopped me
from standing out
To face my challenges.
I feel miserable
sad
hopeless
fear
Looking out at the window,
The rain is still pouring,
My tears
rolled
down my cheek.
There is no
hope…
But
If at first you don't succeed,
try, try again.
Out in the world somewhere,
There is another group of people
They fall,
And bruise themselves
But they climb back up.
Sweeping away their blues
And bruise.
They say,
Misery
Sadness
Despair
Fear
Will not stop me.
What will stop me,
Is myself,
Once you overcome yourself,
You can do anything.
Maybe they are right,
Maybe I should try.
Looking outside,
Eventually,
The rain got tired
of pouring down
its own tears.
The sky was repainted
With a hint of blue
The sun peaked through the clouds.
And here I come.
