The word beautiful is too cliche now
With deep admiration do eyes look at you
Words do not mudder for in a glance
can it not be held, when time is standing still
Shall eyes meet mine and gaze upon me slow—
time, what time?
For beauty, time can not behold.
A pedal drops,
We age away
as dust becomes the norm
But within a blink you see me now,
and looking at you slow—
time what time?
For love, time can not behold
We waste away years more years taking nothing slow
with this thought of ageless mind,
time what time?
For young love, time can not behold
neither here nor there—shall it be—that beauty can be held
for with this slow look upon
is all you need to know
Stay with me now
for time to fray
away from moving no more than slow
say, what is time?
For time, time can not behold

When I talk about looking at someone slow in the poem I mean the look you give someone when you are in love with them.
