Fallen Grace
One gaze
saturates her petite body
with butterflies
Memories come back to her
compelling and sudden
filling up her mind
like a flood
That one familiar face
with warm lips
that spoke those pretty words
forever tattooed in her thoughts
She craves him
all over again
so deeply
Her fragile insides begin to break
as she falls and crumples
She is lost
searching for pieces
of him
in everybody that comes along
Drowns the butterflies in alcohol
uses other lips to forget the taste of his
yet still feels nothing
She doesn't understand
why she is so fazed
by that blue eyed mystery
