Sunrise
Poison seeps inside of me
and whispers things I cannot see
Rattle, rattle, goes my heart
thump, thump, my bones
I am a song without the prose
a thorn without its partner rose
Tell me will you be my rose?
Your petals glimmer softly in the dying night
You make me think that maybe morning light
takes no more journey than to open up my eyes
I wish to sleep beside you, just so I may you rise
