Why I Don't Rhyme
I can’t rhyme
Not even for a dime
My rhymes don’t make sense
They make the reader feel tense
Because they’re so bad
It really is sad.
I need to quit
Or I’ll get hit
By a heavy brick
Because people are ticked
About my horrible rhymes
And about all the times
I tricked them
By selling them some not-so-precious “gems.”
I don’t know how to rhyme
My rhymes are a crime
They will call the cops
Unless I promise to stop
My rhyming is trash
Nobody would give me any cash
Unless I stopped rhyming
And switched to something else.
