Thoughts
I've heard it before, I've heard it many times but i keep forgetting how it goes. Is it, what do you expect when you step on ant hill? Is it, play with fire and you'll get burn? Is it, let sleeping dogs lie? Is it, don't play in the black pit? Is it, a cop killed the cat? Is it, kill two blacks with one stone? I can't hear my own thoughts on account of the gun shots, and the thud of black bodies, and the crying of black anger, and the consent of silence. What do you expect when you step on human flesh, when you step on the bones of our brothers, when we flail our arms to keep extinction at bay, when we close our fists to stop bullets...
