When I have a thigh gap?
(But a gap not too big because then I'll look anorexic)
When am I beautiful?
When I apply make up?
(But not too much because then I'll have a fake cake face)
When am I beautiful?
When I wear a mini skirt?
(But not too short because then I'll look like a girl of weak character)
When am I beautiful?
When my skin is pale?
(But not too pale because tans are tumblr)
When am I beautiful?
When I'm feminine and gentle?
(But not too feminine because then I'll be a spoilt brat)
When am I myself?
Never.

Teenage girls all over the globe are perpetually judged for every single action of theirs, be it their voice or their outfit. It is time we as a society stop setting standards for what is good and what's not.
