Made in the A.M.
Waking in the middle of the night;
It's normal to me now.
But to think about you with no one in sight;
That's strange to me somehow.
I try to tell myself,
'You'll get over it'
But my brain won't stop like a working elf.
Then our memories replay bit by bit.
'Oh her brown little eyes,
Another thing I'd never get tired of aside from skies;
Your voice that's so calming,
It keeps my heart beating'
How I wish you were mine
How I wish you had the time
How I wish our hands intertwine
How I wish stealing my heart is a crime.
