Grateful
They've been here for years
Never noticed, never cared for
The streets scream at night
Strong wind growling
They never chose this,
They never wanted this
Food is like a monthly paycheck
and water seems like an honor
There's good people out there
One's that'll care
Then there's one's who judge
Who believe we're just another stop on the path
They're all crying
While you're at home sighing
Don't take what you have for granted,
I encourage you to be gratified with what you have.
