Oblivion
I thought they had such beautiful eyes.
so old, yet still so young
green from the leaves
blue from the sky
brown from the dirt that structures our earth
-
Pitch Black oblivion
framed with illuminating White stars
-
what a shame, all the beauty being all the way up there
Impossibly Out of our reach
when the eyes to view it are all the way down here
-
Something Else
Something Else is out there
looking down at us,
marveling at our beauty
mesmerized by our advancement and intelligence
Wondering why we would ever doubt it be so.
