Born "Hypocrisy"
Being born a black man is the worst thing that could’ve happened to me
Nappy hair and darker skin was my natural born sin
Why can’t I be lucky enough to die with all living kin?
The white man’s black hands reaching deep within
Am I born into the atrocity of a “N*****” in the eyes of him?
Or do I develop once touching my mom’s chocolate arms
Into a darker than fair skin beast which only cause is to cause harm?
NO.
My people have soul and equality and peace was our only goal
Until you cheated, sneaked, and schemed, the passion out of our dream
The only love the didn’t slip between the cracks was the love of recognizing each other for being “BLACK”
