Falling For Fall
As I walk down the street
I hear the brittle leaves
Crunching under my feet
As I stroll down the sidewalk
I hear the wind singing
Never missing a beat
In some places summer never leaves their eyes
In others, winter never says goodbye
In New England we are lucky enough
To see a real autumn season
Through our own eyes
A season filled with vibrant colors
And perfect weather
So I love to throw on a cozy sweater
I love the heart-warming smell
Of a warm apple pie
Let's not waste this amazing season
By staying inside.
