Alone
I’m alone because I acted like it.
I acted like it when I was surrounded by people I loved and didn’t know I needed.
I’m alone because I made decisions alone. I thought alone. I cried alone. I did everything alone.
And because of that, I am alone.
I’m alone because I forgot how to interact with people.
I’m selfish and you can only be selfish when you’re alone.
No one truly wants to be alone when or if it feels like this.
Bukowski, Bukowski, why am I alone?
No one should ever be alone.
