It's Not The Bully
They say it's the words that hurt
But it's really not
They claim it's the feeling of being worthless
Still not the emotion brought
What they never thought of
Was that we were willing to believe what we saw and heard
Since that's what we're taught
If a bully punches and jabs at us with their tongue
You're still able to stand
But when a close friend or relative insults you
That's when you start to think that it's a demmand
When someone you care about
Joins in on the suffering
Then it hurts like hell
It's not all the ignorant kids taunting
Cause the worst pain to ever feel
Doesn't come from the enemy
It comes from inside the walls of zeal
And there it hurts for an eternity
