Invisible not Invincible
I may be concealed,
but it does not mean I am invulnerable.
Just because I am not self conscience,
does not mean rude remarks are acceptable.
I may be inconspicuous,
But maybe I want a friend.
I may be obscure,
And want someone who cares to figure me out.
Just because I do not voice my thoughts,
does not mean it is okay to pick on me.
Even though I am ethereal,
People fail to treat me as such.
Just because I am invisible
Does not mean I am invincible

I had a friend at my old school who was picked on because she would not stand up for herself. She was a shy sort of butterfly, and she just rolled with the punches. Before I left, I had a heart to heart conversation with her. She just wanted a true friend who would accept her and not pick on her because she was different. This poem is dedicated to her. <3
