A man lounges under a streetlight,
Wrapped in mismatched, rainbow colored layers,
The collar of a dress shirt turned up,
and the hem of a sweatshirt hanging to his knees.
Feet stretched out—
(One boot and one sneaker)
Staring at an empty cup beside him.
A man walks past a streetlight,
Strolling nonchalant, as he fingers
His purposefully messy-looking locks.
Suddenly he trips and goes sprawling,
Oh no!
He scrapes his knees
through the holes in his $80 jeans!
