The dignity that we carry
It’s american
We have forgotten how amazing
We used to be
We are all immigrants from around the world
Our ancestors worked for this land
We are still working for this land
Love
Sweat
Tears
Our natives pushed
Taken away
Because of greed
Fear overcame us
I fell asleep crying
With the fear of being ripped apart
But they feared too
Our fears drive us
To hate
To violence
To discrimination
To forgetting about everyone except ourselves
My mom showed strength
We have dignity
We have made this country great
Love the hate
