Satin Skin
Skin to skin
lips to lips
and eyes to eyes.
Our bodies were beautiful creations
that we used to show love.
The stain of your touch
sent chills through my veins,
and my hands told a story with your delicate satin skin.
We created art with the sounds that purred from my lips,
and our swaying movements was a masterpiece.
You and I were the oranges and reds that perfected a sunset.
We were the soothing whispers of the wind that brushed through the air.
And everytime we split
the constellations in the sky were seperated,
leaving just the stars before us.
For even when we are not together,
we are beautiful.
But when we are...
we are perfect.

This piece was inspired by the artwork I see everyday. And when I say artwork, I mean the people that create it. I always thought that the most alluring things were the ones we had to dig deep into.
