Rain (From an older person's perspective)

As I looked out the window I saw rain
The rain oh how it brought on the pain
I sat back down in my chair
But the pain was too much to bare
The rain had started to pick up its pace
I was so cold and could not feel my face
As I slowly took a nap
I heard a sudden tap
Maybe it was just my brain
Perhaps I am going insane
Oh rain please go away
And take my pain from your stay
