Summer Fun
The brutal sun reflected off my weary head
sweat poured slowly down my face spring was over
and summer was here, my friend and I went into town
to have a good time, Indulging in all the fun
We walked, we talked, we laughed, we played,
the whole nine yards our world around us was
slowly growing in every way due to the smell
of BBQ coal from the grilled burgers and hot dogs
Man we loved summer as the day was long,
our enthusiasm and child like sense of wonder
made this the best day of summer ever,
the burnt smell of coal from the grill afar
made me levitate with a sudden craving for burgers
