Strugglers
How can I be so much like a man?
I held such a powerful grasp over nature.
Yet now I rest a feeble speck,
In the land of,
Capitalists and go-getters.
Throwing sticks,
like missiles through neighborly trees.
Watching reflections of sunlight,
from the muddy waters of cameroon.
We yammer on as mad cousins eradicate our homes.
Just a band of Cross River gorillas,
and we are strugglers.
