Rid Me
Rid me of my consciousness
Each day I'm haunted with
The pressure of reality
I know I'm caught within
So I buy a bottle
so my mind can be remodeled
Many questions still not solved
even when I ponder and sip
My heart's never been coddled
and I've known this for a while
All of the walls that I have built
were inevitably stripped
I'm left with all the ashes
Recovering from the past tense
Tryna plant roots made of depth
As the Earth beneath me shifts
