Days Have Past
Days have past
Eyes been stained to glass
From constant weight I drag
Pay advance
For when our plane will crash
And all I take is cash
Flame a match
I'm contained with gas
And a painful past
State the facts
No fables or gags
Cuz then the fakes won't match
A trace in bags
I'm just breaking bad
To make my brain collapse
From hateful acts
Of those who f*** me over
Til they sprain my back
Never pay me back
They can't retain the fact
That checks of rain don't cash
Ashamed and mad
When I've been made an ass
So I take paper bags
With staples, tacs
Until my face is masked
And I can't take a gasp
Embarrassment
Can then be laid to rest
Until the wave have passed
A conscious being
Not sure what's wrong with me
I want no one to see
But haunted dreams
They taunt my sleep
Cuz I still wear them on my sleeves
I'm wandering
In places with no radiance
Too dark to see
I'm soldering
Back broken guitar strings
Once played my heart to sing
With scalding heat
But I won't hault machine
Until it starts to beat
