I was drowning in my self esteem
worries and self-doubt
You were like coming up for fresh air
I wanted a love that was passionate and would
consume me
When I saw you
I was speechless
You smiled and you
gave me your heart
I loved you in ways that you haven't been loved
For reasons that you've never been told
I thought you were perfect
but you showed me you weren't
and I loved you even more.
