Long and exhausting
Though each minutes ticks closer
Closer and closer to the end
When foes no longer journey
When windswept flags stand still
When peace settles among scarred land
Though the battle rages on

Our heros time ticks on

When the hero returns home
When the windswept flag flies high in pride
