The Trial Begins: Spring
An evolution of the void
From nothingness, the canvas evolves
Into a plethora of rainbow saturates
Deep green and bright blue paints the horizon
From absence, jagged earth arises
Forming mountains common and prodigious
Purple mounds reaching the sky
Like a support for the development of life
As trees grow, rock begins to crumble
Forever changing in a cycle.
Forming old memories, bringing new wonders
The Earth ages just like the artist’s canvas
Making new arrangements
And welcoming us.
Welcoming us to a new life.

This piece reflects the importance of spring all while in the view point of an artist. This is the "first stroke" of the entire canvas.
