The Sound of Summer
Greenery lush and full as the days themselves,
The way of life extends.
Tranquil is the land
Surrounding the inhabitants of the season
What a wonderful time to be wild and free
Elk cry and birds serenade their melodies
Trickling rivers whisper
Crimson skies contrast a hazel horizon
And the nature of rain alleviates the long day
Yet the beauty is still preserved
The rain is a natural force of healing,
Shrouding those in a glossy coat
Incapable of searching for cover
Rolls of thunder accompany the rain
But only to follow the flash of lightning
The season ends as quick as its rainy days
But the canvas is ever more filled
