Winter: Trial and Error
Ice freezes over as a blanket of snow appears
The year’s almost at an end
The canvas sheds any previous colors
A new paintings almost begun
Though birds still chirp
The wild ones sleep in hibernation alone
Ice crystals frozen where water was once present
And icicles form nature's sculptures
The morning sun counterbalances the chill filled air
And creates a beautiful glow
An end to the year comes to a close
But winter emerges in the year to come
An empty canvas is ready to start
A whole new world is ready to be formed,
Cleared of any mistakes
Waiting for the artist to start again

This piece is inspired by the idea that every artist restarts the process of creating art right when a piece is done whether they like it or not. This is represented by the season of Winter.
