Once In A Blue Moon
It happened once in a blue moon,
When we talked until noon
He said I'd always be his,
Who knew that time would bring us to this
I looked into his magnificent eyes,
And revealed all those mysterious lies
They say that if things had the power to love,
Then the moon would fall in love with the sun
I loved him to the moon and back,
Even more than the books that lie in my rack
As I held back my tears,
Remembering all those past years,
Realizing all those mistakes I made,
Watching him play all those same old games
He probably never noticed,
Nor will he ever, how my heart used to flutter
As he sand my favourite lullaby,
In his arms, under the moonlight
Singing me to sleep,
Like a baby desperate for peace
They ask me if I'd take back that time if I could,
I say I probably would
But even if a thousands years pass,
And my heart still aches,
I'd still love him from time to time,
Regardless of all those scars, all those tears
All those memories, all those cheers
All those sleepless nights, all that bears
It happened once in a blue moon,
That we talked until noon
